Hello Ferrum

The example extension for Ferrum. It is small on purpose: read extension.js next to this page to see how each feature is used. The source is in the ferrum-market repository.

  • Hello: Say Hello asks for a name and greets it. The greeting word and loud mode are settings.
  • Hello: Make Selection Upper Case changes the selected text, as one undoable edit.
  • A word counter in the status bar follows the open file. Click it to open the statistics.
  • Hello: Show Page Statistics opens a panel with lines, words and characters of the open file.
