Mark lines, jump to the next or previous bookmark, and list bookmarks across files. They are remembered.

In Ferrum open Extensions in the sidebar, search for Bookmarks and press Install. Or use Extensions: Install from File with the downloaded file.

Bookmarks

Mark a line (Shift+Alt+B), jump to the next (Shift+Alt+N) or previous (Shift+Alt+P) bookmark in the file, or list all bookmarks in all files and jump to one. A counter shows in the status bar. Bookmarks are saved by the editor and come back next time.

Bookmarks are tied to line numbers, so after big edits above a bookmark it may point a few lines off.

Permissions: workspace.read (to open the file when you pick a bookmark from another file).

Sidebar

Since 1.1.0 an icon in the activity bar lists every bookmark, grouped by file. Bookmarked lines show a star in the gutter and a soft highlight.
