Test Runner
Three shortcuts that save you typing test commands: Run All Tests, Run Tests in This File and Run the Test Under Cursor, plus Run the Last Test Command Again and, where the tool supports it, Watch and Coverage.
It looks at your project to choose the tool: package.json (Vitest, Jest, Mocha, node --test or the test script), Cargo.toml (cargo test), go.mod (go test), composer.json (Pest or PHPUnit), Python files (pytest), pom.xml (Maven), build.gradle (Gradle) and Gemfile (RSpec).
The test under the cursor is found by looking upward from the cursor for it( / test( / describe(, def test_, #[test] fn, func TestX, function testX, @Test or RSpec it. If no test is found it tells you instead of running everything.
The command is typed in the terminal where you see the result, and unsaved changes are saved first. Do not run it while a program that reads keys is active in that terminal.
Permissions
terminal, and workspace.read to read the marker files (package.json and the like).
