Task List

A Tasks icon in the activity bar opens a checklist for the current project. Type a task and press Enter, tick the box when it is done, click the colored dot to change its priority (high, normal, low), and hover to delete. Open tasks are sorted by priority, done tasks sink to the bottom. The count of open tasks shows on the icon and in the status bar.

Add Selection or Line as Task turns the selected text (or the current line, without its comment marker) into a task and remembers where it came from. Mark a Task as Done... does it from the keyboard.

Tasks are kept for each project folder in this extension's storage and come back next time. For tasks that live inside your code as comments, see TODO Tree.

Uses the sidebar views API. No permissions needed.
