API Tools
OpenAPI viewer
Open an OpenAPI 3 or Swagger 2 file (openapi.yaml, swagger.json...) and run View the OpenAPI Description, or run it with a folder open and it finds the file. A panel shows the title, version and servers, then the endpoints grouped by tag with colored method badges, parameters, request bodies and responses, and the schemas. Search filters everything; Insert "GET /pets" puts an endpoint in your file. List Endpoints... is the same as a quick list. YAML is read with a built in reader for the part of YAML that OpenAPI files use (anchors and merge keys are not supported).
GraphQL playground
Type an endpoint, a query, variables and headers, then Run query. Show schema runs an introspection query and lists the queries, mutations and types. Open a .graphql file first and its text becomes the query. The endpoint, query and variables are remembered; headers (and any token in them) are never saved.
WebSocket tester?
Not included: extensions run in a sandbox without WebSocket, so it cannot be done.
Permissions
workspace.read, to find your API description. network, to send the GraphQL query to the endpoint you typed. Nothing else is contacted.
